All tickets are £30 each however, under 3’s are charged at only £10 per ticket as although they will enjoy the experience they may not get as much from it as the older children. The ticket price also includes their gift from Father Christmas.
All of the performances by the actors are set in woodlands adjacent to Blakemere Village. The terrain is therefore uneven, it can be muddy or even frozen depending upon the weather. The remaining activities are located within Blakemere Village itself.
You should wrap up nice and warm, layers are always an advantage. We advise wearing wellies or walking boots and waterproofs depending on the weather forecast. Hats, gloves, scarves and extra pairs of socks are also recommended as the experience takes place outside.
Skates are supplied for all ticket holders but please note that children wearing wellington boots should bring an alternative pair of shoes to allow BOB Skates to fit. BOB Skates are available for Children in sizes 5 – 12.
There are a number of performances each day that the event runs. You choose which time slot suits you and your family best when you book and the start time will be made clear at that point. You need to arrive at the registration point at least 15 minutes before your time slot in order to register your arrival.
Please arrive at Blakemere Village Visitor Attraction and allow at least 10 minutes to park up and walk to the registration point in Cheshire Outdoors located at the entrance to the magical woodland which will be clearly signposted from each car park.
The theatre in the woodland lasts for just over an hour. The build-your-own-cuddly-toy with Mrs Claus can last 15-20 minutes depending on your child’s age and abilities. You are then free to enjoy the unlimited family skating, the magical wand whittling and meet Snowy Owl and friends. Don’t forget to capture a family group photo with Snowy the Owl and his friends. The total experience can last 3+ hours. During your visit you can also enjoy all of the shops and activities that Blakemere Village has to offer!
This year the children will be building their own cuddly toy given to them by Father Christmas. Mrs Claus and the elves will help them to stuff their soft toy and add special magical touches before sealing it ready to take home and cherish forever!
Yes. Hardcore pathways have been laid around the majority of the woodland where the theatre performances are, however there are a couple of steep inclines where you may need assistance depending upon your strength. There are usually helpers on hand to assist, but please mention this when booking your performance so that assistance can be organised.
The show stills goes on! The show stills goes on! Unless the weather is a health and safety issue we will not cancel any performances. Just wrap up extra warm and wear waterproof clothing. New for 2019 – we have erected new covered areas in parts of the woodland to provide some limited shelter whilst watching a performance. We cannot guarantee that you won’t get wet. But you will be able to dry off in the refreshments marquee where you will meet Snowy the Owl and whittle your wands. Alternatively, bring along a set of clothes for children to change into after the woodland performance.
Once purchased, unfortunately tickets cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Please note due to our third party online booking system any changes to bookings will incur a £10 administration fee. For any amendments to your booking please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01606 883261 from Monday to Friday 9.30am-5pm ONLY.

We chose a synthetic skating rink because ice can melt if the weather is too warm. It offers the younger children an opportunity to experience skating on a less slippery surface. It is also more environmentally friendly as it does not require electricity to cool the surface.
